I. Organizational Context
Food and
Agriculture Organization (FAO) is a United Nations agency which provides
technical assistance in Indonesia.
One of our projects since 2006 provides support for the control of Avian
Influenza, in cooperation with national and regional Indonesian government
livestock authorities. Project activities are conducted in various locations
nationwide.
Under the overall supervision of the FAO
Representative in Indonesia, the general supervision of the International Operations Coordinator, the
direct supervision of the National Liaison Officerand in
close collaboration with the Local Disease Control Centre in Bali and other
relevant government counterparts and FAO ECTAD Indonesia Program staff, the
Training Administrative Clerk will be responsible for handling the day to day
administrative tasks in support of the FAO-ECTAD Rabies Control Programme.
II. Functions / Key Results Expected
Summary of key functions:
- Prepare in advance budget
estimates and list of needed supplies for relevant training/workshops/
seminars/ meetings;
- Make travel and hotel
reservations, prepare travel authorization forms and assemble information
pertinent for the purposes of the travel;
- Facilitate all
logistical/administrative needs during the training/ workshops/ seminars/
meetings organized under the project;
- Maintain proper and updated
documentations of logistics/ finance for relevant project activities;
- Ensure that the office filing
systems and records are properly maintained for easy retrieval;
- Provide efficient reception
services to guest and facilitate their travel to project sites if needed;
- Supervise and monitor training
preparation, execution and report finalization by the LDCC Admin clerks
- Operate office equipment such as
typewriter, word processor, and other similar keyboard equipment as required;
- Monitor supplies and equipment for
the project- complete the inventory form for the project; and
- Performs other related duties as
required

Program Officer - Leadership Program IPD
The Institute for Peace and Democracy (IPD) which is an independent entity under the University of Udayana, Bali, is the learning community that has been established to provide substantive, academic and technical support for the dialogues conducted by the Bali Democracy Forum.
IPD regularly organizes discussion on such topics as: true democratic elections, multiparty system in a pluralistic society, effective parliaments, the independence of judiciary, law enforcement in a regime of human rights, waging anti corruption campaigns, the limits to press freedom, the merits of a market economy versus the need for social justice, strengthening civil society and how a professional military establishment can help to promote democracy. In brief, IPD is the implementing body of the agenda and programs adopted by The Bali Democracy Forum (BDF).
IPD is also commissions policy-relevant studies by resident researchers or visiting scholars and organizes training program for, among others, elections workers, members of political parties, parliamentarians, media professionals and development planners.
IPD organizes joint missions that include experts and government officials from countries participating in the BDF. The joint missions conduct policy-oriented research, field studies and comparative studies. They may also provide consultancy services and technical assistance as needed and upon request by government of the participating BDF countries.

Party Leadership Program. This program is build
to response to challenges facing political parties and their development into
mature, representative institutions. For this program IPD will be supported by
the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI), conducting a
regional program that would promote the modernization and strengthening of
political parties by enhancing the democratic leadership skills of emerging
political leaders and party activists within the Asia region. The Asian Political Party Leadership (APPL) program
would provide young, emerging leaders with the knowledge and skills necessary to
initiate transformation inside their own political parties to become more
democratic, legitimate, transparent, and effective in meeting the aspirations
of their supporters. APPL would create
opportunities for young leaders to network with like-minded individuals from

Job

Program Manager
We are looking for a Program Manager to coordinate all aspects of assigned
programs to achieve desired goal.
Program Manager will report to Head of Management Board and manage the
following programs:
1. Kuta International Disaster Scholarship (KIDS) Program aims to provide
educational assistance for the children of Bali Bombing survivors to enable
the children finish their education through university.
2. University Scholarship Program aims to provide scholarship for potential
disadvantaged senior high school graduates to study at bachelor degree so
that they could become a future leader for their community.
3. Vocational Education Program aims to provide scholarship for potential
disadvantaged senior high school graduates to study at one year of
vocational high education for future better employment opportunities.
Main duties include:
Planning:
o Prepare program strategic plan on five years basis, set an action plan and
monitoring system on annual basis.
o Prepare program annual budget for review and approval of the Management
Boards.
Managing:
o Manage the day to day activities of the program, which involves creating
and managing program objectives and initiatives, to ensure that
tasks/activities are carried out as planned within the stipulated time.
o Manage to ensure that there is adequate fund to carry out the activities
of the program. Facilitate the transfer of money from donors, including
reminding them for the transfer schedule, and then in coordination with the
team.
o Manage to prioritize activities that are of crucial importance so that
less important issues can be taken up later.
Monitoring:
o To ensure that the objectives of the program are achieved and the
resources are used efficiently through the creation and implementation of
effective monitoring and evaluation system
o To verify the proposed expenditures of the action plan fits with the
allocated budget.

Internal Liaison:
o Acting as a point of contact between the upper management, team member
